STRUCTURAL INTEGRATION:
Structural Integration achieves its results by manually manipulating the muscles and soft connective tissue called fascia. Fascia surrounds and penetrates the muscles and all other structures of the body and gives the body its shape. Our bodies are constantly
affected by the forces of gravity. When we are out of balance, gravity will drag us down. This causes the fascia to shorten and thicken in patterns of strain and tightness. This leads to structural misalignments. Structural Integration works to free these holding patterns and fascial restrictions to move the body back into balance. This takes place in a series of sessions that allows the body to return to its dynamic, upright support. The treatments result in freer flowing energy that will enhance the body's total physiological and psychological function.
